Brush Country Music Jamboree

Brush Country Music Jamboree

Brush Country Music Jamboree

The Brush Country Music Jamboree will be held Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 7 p.m. at the Live Oak County Coliseum, half way between George West and Three Rivers.

Headlining the program will be super accordion player/singer Chris Rybak of Austin. Also appearing on the show will be super fiddler Bobby Flores of Blanco, who will play twin fiddles with Joe Nixon the entire program.

Other guests will be Bobby´s brother, Greg Flores; Elvis Presley impersonator Rob Carter of New Braunfels; and comedienne Charlotte “Beulah Mae” Maples of Agua Dulce.

This will be the last Brush Country Music Jamboree program, at least for the time being. Due to the rising cost of gasoline, the crowds have dwindled sufficiently in the past year, to where it is no longer economically feasible to have the program. The cost is $4 per person. FMI: call Jerry Retzloff at 786-3334.
