Rybak at Jamboree

            Come see guest performer Chris Rybak and all the regular picks and grinners at this month´s Cowboy Jamboree! The event is set for Tuesday, July 22 at 7 p.m. at the Poteet VFW Hall.

            One of the most popular accordion entertainers in Texas, Rybak can be found performing all across the state throughout the year. Combining his love of music, strong Czech heritage and arousing charisma, this accordion cowboy has what it takes to entertain audiences through his showmanship and fresh enthusiastic musical style. His show utilizes his talents on the accordion, along with the keyboard, a trumpet and vocals.

            Rybak has played everywhere from the Texas Folklife Festival in San Antonio to the German Wurstfest in New Braunfels, Labor day´s Czech West Fest in Central Texas, NAMM Shows in Austin and Anaheim, California and the Texas Renaissance Festival in Plantersville, as well as here locally. He´s taken his music to Europe as well, including appearances in the Czech Republic, Germany and Slovakia (homeland of his beautiful wife Edita).

            Rybak released a new CD “Let´s Get In The Mood” featuring the Roland Digital Accordion in September 2007. Come on out to the Jamboree in Poteet to hear this amazing accordion in person as Chris plays some of his favorites off the new CD.
